About Face opened its doors in October 2003 in a small space in downtown Anchorage, Alaska, becoming the first true lifestyle boutique to offer such a wide range of luxury products, most of which could not be found anywhere else in Alaska. We were voted America's #1 Best New Beauty Boutique by Lucky Magazine in their January 2004 issue.

Local owners Leeann and Shane Taylor travel the world to find the best products available for our valued customers, focusing on products that currently aren't available in Alaska.

Although we began with only 20 different brands, principally bath, body, and skin care products, we have continually grown, bringing in bath linens, luxury robes, comfortable, sexy loungewear, and some of the world's finest lingerie. We now have over 75 personally-selected brands for you to experience.

We'd like to thank all of our valued and loyal customers for your support. Without you, the overwhelming success and growth of About Face would not have been possible. In March of 2008, About Face opened its new custom designed storefront in South Anchorage to better serve our customers. On August 28, 2010, after seven years in our original downtown store, we completed our relocation to our new store and closed the downtown store permanently. If you have yet to visit us at our new South Anchorage store, we invite you to come meet our knowledgeable staff and experience our unique boutique.

We opened our new store in March 2008 and is located at the corner of Dimond and Old Seward, beside Starbucks in the Southgate Shopping Center as shown on the map at left. Whether we're your destination or a stop on the way to Starbucks, Best Buy, Costco or any of the many other shopping destinations in the Dimond area, you should definitely stop by to get your About Face fix. We receive new shipments regularly, so be sure to stop by often.
