March Makeover Month!
Join us for March Makeover Month! Come in to either location for a makeover on any weekday and receive 10% off your makeup purchase (not applicable to SALE items).
If you haven’t tried our gloMinerals Mineral Makeup you are going to be amazed! We have converted so many customers (including those who've gone Bare and survived!) to this fantastic mineral makeup brand. It is the only mineral makeup brand that is triple-milled, so the finish is super fine and doesn’t emphasize fine lines or pores. A new coat of paint, a change of colors, and a little rearranging to make more lingerie and loungewear available to our customers who work or live downtown. The SoNo store will be closed Monday - Wednesday, March 8 - 10 while we complete the renovations. The South store will remain open during this time, and as always, is open 7 days a week for your convenience.

About Face is offering Love Notes to our customers from February 10th to February 13th at each location. Come in and shop for your Valentine, and when at the register, pick a Love Note from our Letter Box and you could receive a free gift or a discount of 10% to 50% off one item. Thanks to all of you who turned out to celebrate with us. It was great fun and a huge success, with a lot of happy, satisfied customers. A special thanks to our wonderful models who were so gracious to spend their Valentine's eve modeling lingerie and loungewear for us for 4 hours. We've included a few photos for those of you who weren't able to come out.

About Face is preparing for all you last minute shoppers out there. On the eve of the BIG DAY, we're having refreshments at both stores and, at the South store only, between 4 and 8 pm, we'll also be holding several mini fashion shows featuring some of our favorite lingerie and loungewear. MODERN ROMANCE: A Fashion Event.
AFTER SHOW UPDATE:
All we can say is WOW! The show exceeded all of our expectations. Over 600 attendees in this sold-out show were treated to 144 different looks, dessert, and a fun night of after-show shopping. In addition, the 100 VIPs received a gift bag chock full of goodies from all the boutiques. We're all so very proud of our models who did such an outstanding job and were so relaxed and professional. Thanks to our staff, stylists and makeup artists, and all the video, sound, lighting and music masters for making it all come together. It was a whole lot of work!

Mark your calendars! This is one benefit event that neither guy nor gal will won't want to miss. You've probably noticed that the Third Annual SoNo Summer Fashion Show hasn't been announced this year. And it won't be. The SoNo boutiques About Face, Blush, and Out of the Closet! have teamed up with our wonderful friends at Her Tern, She, and Skinny Raven to bring you a bigger, better show filled with the latest fashions in clothing (daywear, sportswear, and eveningwear), shoes, lingerie, loungewear, and swimwear. This will be the first major event at the new Dena'ina Civic & Convention Center, just another reason to come see and be seen.
The evening will begin at 7:00 pm with cocktails, followed by an extravagant runway fashion show at 8:15 pm with 48 models, in two separate runs, or a total of 96 different outfits! We'll end the evening by making these great new fashions available for sale in a separate room set aside just for that purpose. Now, how perfect is that?
We are very excited about our venue. We have the entire top floor, and plenty of room for a great show, for mingling with friends, and for enjoying cocktails on the outdoor balcony while taking in a spectacular view of the mountains.
Tickets are available at each of the boutiques, and we expect a sold-out show, so be sure to get your tickets early. We sold out of our 100 VIP tickets in just days, and General Admission tickets are also going fast. VIP tickets are $115, and General Admission tickets are $60. There are really no bad seats in the house.
Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Eva Foundation which help "victims of abuse regain independence to build a better life". Learn more about the Eva Foundation at www.evafoundationalaska.org.
